Does she look like this? We don’t know! She has never been seen!
Over the years there have been stories. Staff members “felt a presence” on the lower level.
In September 2018, a team of investigators from T.R.I.P.R.G. (The RI Paranormal Research Group) visited and checked it out several orbs were seen and, using dowsing rods to record yes and no answers to questions, we learned the following about the presence:
- She prefers Elizabeth to Liz
- She was involved during the early years of creating the library
- She remains because of her attachment to the library
- She was a baptist and unmarried
- She died prior to 1924
