The library is hosting a Family program entitled Home Pool Swimming Safety on Thursday August 13 @ 11am. The instructor is Julia Alger, a GSA Gold Award winner. (This award is akin to the BSA Eagle Scout badge.) The presentation will include basic skills of safe swimming including safety tips, emergency steps, & hazards.
