Read the novel, bake your own cupcake and personally share it with Janae Marks, author of From the Desk of Zoe Washington. Prior to Janae Mark's virtual pop-in, we will discuss the story and play a Kahoot. Recommended for kids in grades 4 through 6; limited to 15 participants. Please register to receive the Zoom link. Upon registration, books will be available for check-out (in your name) behind the Circulation Desk beginning February 1. Baking is highly encouraged but not required to participate. In the interest of time, please bake your cupcake prior to the program.

"Dear Marcus...Zoe Washington isn’t sure what to write next. What does a girl say to the father she’s never met, hadn’t heard from until his letter arrived on her twelfth birthday, and who’s been in prison for a terrible crime? Her best friend and neighbor Trevor would’ve been her confidante through all this, but Zoe’s not speaking to him anymore. She’ll have to figure this out alone..."
